With a loading capability of 125kg - base-rak is stronger than the tow-bracket on most normal vehicles outside large 4x4's. So all you need do is subtract the 6kg that base-rak weighs from the nose load [S value] of a tow-bar to see what load can be carried on your vehicle. Allow 15kg each for  standard bikes.

If you want to access details of actual nose loads towing weights etc. we find that the best source of this information is the Westfalia web-site. They are a German tow-bracket manufacturer not easily available in the UK - but the data for towing weights applies to all tow-bars for a specific vehicle so a Witter or ~Tow-trust tow-bracket will give the same figures - whether fixed or detachable.
